Title: DHCP on MULTI-SSID
Post by: reason2015 on August 05, 2015, 06:39:37 AM
Hello,

Is it possible to configure the DHCP server on the DAP-2695 to only pass out IP addresses to clients connecting to a specific SSID?

Thanks,
Rod

I would presume no as DHCP is based on MAC addresses and given to the connecting to any device weather WLAN SSID name or not depending on if any other filters are being used. You might check the user manual to see if there is any info on this...

Thanks. I was gathering that it was impossible. Probably will have to set up VLANs and an external DHCP server.
