As soon as i get done installing shareport i get a Blue Screen and a memory dump. After that vista blue screens at boot. Then i have to either boot in safe mode and uninstall the shareport or do a system restore. Is this a vista 64 compatability issue? Is there a beta version of shareport out there? BTW i have a DIR-625 RevC.

Shareport works fine with 64 bit Windows (all versions, including '7'). There seems to be a conflict with another driver that is not programmed very well. You can find the crashing driver(s) in the eventlog. Virtual server software causes a lot of these BSOD's, since it installs a virtual USB driver. And that makes all other USB drivers crash.
So Shareport is not to blame here, start looking for the driver conflicting with it.

This sucks cuz im not a newb but finding conflicting drivers via event viewer.... well lets just say my brain hurts LOL.

I'm kind of recovering from this too. I was having huge issue with blue screen after installing a driver update for my integrated lan card. After hours of troubleshooting I uninstalled shareport, but it didn't seem to uninstall correctly and I got a bluescreen during the install. Now I'm trying to do a vista ultimate upgrade and when it goes through the compatibility test it was showing a usb over tcp device. I uninstalled the driver out of device manager and it is still showing on the compatibility check. I'm still trying to get through the upgrade, but if it fails this time, I'm going to need some way to remove that permanently. Shareport has been the source of a lot of my wasted time.
