Title: 826L Firmware good for Canada?
Post by: tonydif on August 09, 2015, 12:17:24 PM
Have 826-l hardware version 1A in Canada, still on original firmware 1.04 (which is latest canadian release)

Dlink.ca has no updated firmwares since purchase 3 years ago, but dlink.com does(1.05b13)

can i use the dlink.com firmware to upgrade my router?

Issues are no 5Ghz after 3 feet, and even then constantly dropping signal...no walls in way, no interference....5ghz just does not seem to be working...only device that sees it is new lg3 phone, ipads, ipad minis, nexus phone, dont see 5ghz network at all.

(dual band setup with separate ssid, separate names, separate passwords)  rebooted and renewed many times.
