Hello, my first request for help on this forum.
I have downloaded mydlink-lite for my iPad. I can view live video from the camera but video stored on the camera SD card just shows a black screen, no error message. The stored video plays on a PC. Please can anybody suggest how to resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance.

What iOS is loaded on the iPad?
Is uPnP and uPnP Port Fowarding enabled on the camera?
Are you viewing the video from the local network side or from a remote location?
Are you selecting local or remote view on the app?

iPad using IOS8, latest version.
Only UPnP enabled.
Viewing from local side of router.
I have tried both local and remote.

Try enabling uPnP Port Fowarding as well...
Do you have a iPhone to test with?

I can’t offer you a solution but can report I have exactly the same issue with a DSC-5222L Rev A.
The issue is specific to Mydlink+ as videos play back fine on Mydlink lite (on an iphone). It may be an incompatibility problem with only certain cameras as I have a 2332 & 2330 which don’t appear to have the same issue.

I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support and ask them for help and information on the MDL+ app and see what is supported and if there is any configurations needed. Keep us posted.

The solution for me (different camera but same issue) was as follows :-
Close all apps open on the ipad,
Delete all dlink apps,
Fully power off ipad
Reboot and reinstall dlink+ from the app store.
Hope this works for you too.
