Title: Website Filter

Hi if I add a site the the Website Filter it will alert me that the site is forbidden, which is good.
But if I ping the site, it doesn't get blocked.

Why is that?
Also I want to log the blocking of my list, but it logs every site I go to also...??

• What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
• Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
• What region are you located?

Possibly that the settings are looking for specific web browser traffic and ping traffic could be using something different that what the block features is looking for.
How is the Access Controls set up. Not sure if you can just log one specific item or not.
