Title: DNS-325 w/FFP changing smb.conf permanently

I need to change the line strict allocate=no to yes in my smb.conf on my DNS-325. However as far as I can tell, the file is not permanent and is reverted back on each reboot. I can't even seem to restart smbd so that the changes take affect. Does anyone have a solution for this?
