Can anybody tell me why D link not fixing the UAC problem that occur from Windows 8.

Does it happen if you test in windows 10?
D-Link maybe testing a new version since 10 was released.

I personally disable UAC as it's really not needed.  ::)

Windows 10 does not like to let you run any of the built in apps while UAC is disabled, unfortunately I have not been able to find a way around this and the program it seems simply will not work while UAC is enabled, and to make it more annoying I cannot turn UAC off without a restart of the PC, which means I cannot go from having the camera software open to running a simple calculator without restarting PC

Suitable work around IMO. The only feature that I think requires UAC is the Main Console. When installing the full D-Viewcam bundle choose "Custom Install" then unselect the "Main Console". You still see a message saying the main console needs to change to UAC and it will change it to OFF. Once the application as been installed go in and change your UAC settings back to the default setting and restart your computer. Using the Live Viewer as your main program you can view all of your cameras and perform playback functions. This workaround gives you full functionality without having to continually change UAC. I hope this helps you all. It has worked for me on Windows 7, 8.1 and now 10.
