Title: dettachable antennas, its band: 2.4 or 5 or both!
Post by: czaru on July 06, 2009, 05:30:30 PM
mainly for the mod`s or administrator of the forum

 does any one knows...

Hi there! my question is: from the two antennas that uses the DIR-825,
viewing it from the front side, wich one of them works (or handles) with the 2.4 Ghz frequency
and wich one with the 5Ghz? or... they both work with the "dual bands" ??

please, itīs very important to share that info!! (for me and maybe for some one else)!

thanks in advance!.

Update: Thanks Smlunatik !
just observing the two antennas i took off from the router, they both say 2.4 - 5Ghz, so rou are
right, we can assume the two bands are transmited by both... in my case as i`m using just 2.4 Ghz
antennas, what i did  is to disable the 5Ghz band and work with the "g & N" frequency only.
is good to be in touch! Saludos!

Since the router is a simultaneous dual-band router, it could be safely assumed that all the antennae are for the two bands.
