I have a small network with about 3 servers, two of them require their own public static IP address. I plugged a standard unmanaged switch into the cable modem and then from the unmanaged switch one connection goes to my SonicWALL and one to my Bomgar unit. My incoming internet speed is suppose to be 200 down and 20 up. I am only getting 60 down and still 20 up. Is the unmanaged switch causing this issue? will have to go to a managed switch?
Thanks in advanced.

I recommend a managed switch as you may need to VLAN each WAN IP address to there perspective server. Normally one modem can only provide services of 1 WAN IP address to a NAT or external router for home class environments.

What speeds do you get without the switch?
What is the speed of the switch?

The switch that was being used was a small desktop D-Link switch. I put in a managed switch and now I am getting full speeds from the switch. On the other hand, I found out that our SonicWALL, a NSA 220 will is only rated at 100 down. I was told by SonicWALL that I would need to upgrade to a NSA 2600, holy cow what a price jump.
Thanks for all the help.
Chad.
