Title: Setup wizard issue on Mac
Post by: fcpita on October 10, 2015, 03:14:28 PM
Hi all. I recently had to reset my 932L camera.
I need now to download the setup wizard and configure it again. On the back of the camera the firmware release related to it is A.
I've downloaded different Wizards but I'm not able to go on with the installation. The wizard always returns a message saying that will try to download the latest version from internet and then a new window appears with the wizard pointing to a directory where it can find the latest driver.....
This is a never ending loop and I cannot go on with the configuration.
I've downloaded different wizards : DCS-932L_SetupWizard_v1.04.10-2 dated January 27th 2015, DCS-932L_SetupWizard_v1.04.10 dated March 13th 2014 and DCS-932LB1_SetupWizard_v1.04.12 dated June 19th 2014. They all behave the same way.....

Any suggestion ?

I've some screenshots that I can share but I'm not able to upload them (this is my first message on the forum)

Thanks in advance.

What OSX version are you using on the Mac?

Is the Mac wire connected to the main host router as well as the camera?

OSX is Yosemite 10.10.5
I tried with the camera both wired and not but this doesn't change the situation.
As soon as I push the installation button the wizard tries to connect to internet to find the latest version available and the result is that I only get a window where
the wizard seems to point to a directory on the computer.....

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
