Hi,
yesterday i bought a new DNS-320L. Now i have the problem that 3 of my PC's can connect without problems with the DNS (and without any passwords). The other two show me this message:
All PC's have Windows 7 and network password for home networks is deactivated.
What should i do?

This is normal (in my setup) for NAS devices when you map as a network drive in Windows OS.
I have the same on my laptop and pc - I enter the Admin ID and the password and it allows windows to connect
The only real pain in the a$$ is that my pc doesn't remember so I have to type them every time I reboot. I honestly believe it's do to the time delay between booting and network connection and including the "waking up" of the NAS
What should i do?
Other than enter your id and password you used when installing the NAS with the interface/software IDK
JUST NOTICED on your system - in that box it states "Enter your password to connect to: alsanchez" so maybe you just need the password and it might "remember. Please let us know

there is no password. My Login to the DNS ist only the username without password.
If i try this windows says to me "Access denied".
A litte bit strange is also the fact that i can use the DNS harddrives (without password required) if i mount the harddrives with the "D-Link Storage Utility(5.1.0.3)" programm. But after a restart the mounted harddrives are away...

The password to login to the DNS is not the same thing as the password into login to the network.

its a home network so there's also no password.

Sadly, that is not necessarily the case.
I have spent some time today sorting out NAS shares on a home network.
