Hello Guys,
This is a simple question but the lack of information is incredible.
Some weeks ago I saw at eu.mydlink.com the firmware version called 1.05 for the 327L and after a few days I can only find now the 1.04b10 within this site.
The only place that I am also seeing the 1.04b10 and the 1.05 is on this location: http://dlink.vtverdohleb.org.ua/Add-On/list.php
Within this place we have the following:
Last version
Firmware
DNS-327L (Compatible: HDD, Printer, UPS, IP Camera) v1.04b10 / mirror
Add-Ons
Name Date Size
DLINK_DNS327L.1.04b07(3.13.0610.2015) / mirror 05-10-2015 44468K
DLINK_DNS327L.1.04b10(3.13.0717.2015) / mirror 05-10-2015 44483K
DLINK_DNS327L.1.05b01(3.13.0729.2015) / mirror 28-09-2015 44461K
So, my question is where I can find the most up to date firmware release (Should I use the 1.04b10 or 1.05b01) ?
Thanks and take care !

IT's recommended to use the most current version on the MDL site. IF there is mention of a new version, it may still be in process of being posted. You'll need to keep checking the site for any new additions. I recommend if the DNS works, an upgrade may not be needed.

Hey FurryNutz,
Thanks for your reply.
In fact I just bought a brand new 327L and I would like to update the firmware even before I start use the system just to use it without any previous bugs.
The funny thing is that on MDL site I saw the version 1.05 appearing for sometime (also with the release notes that was saying that fun_plug was no longer supported) and then yesterday I opened the site again and I was only able to find the 1.04b10 (which is still supporting fun_plug).
Maybe in the end the removal of the fun_plug was not accepted at all by the community? and then d-link decided to rollback to 1.04 but this is all my own assumptions.
Anyway.. I am going to follow the 1.04b10 which is the supported version on MDL site but still it is strange and confuse :-)
Thanks and have a nice weekend !

It's recommended to use the DNS with what came loaded. If your not experiencing any issues, theres no need to update FW.
