Can anyone else verify, set port forwarding, reboot router and look and see if it is there..............

Make sure you have SecureSpot enabled (even if you don't use it's functions). That fixed it for me.
-
That worked! Thanks......Is this considered a bug?

bahaha! you have to have securespot enabled in order to have port forwarding to function properly. OMG. the code is getting more messy as time goes on.

I'm afraid to upgrade, you guys will have to be the lab rats. :-\

Well at least that confirms my conclusions. I'd say it's a bug but it's a question of whether D-Link will admit it is or not. I honestly have no idea why they bothered to implement this SecureSpot stuff. It's more hassle than it's worth.

I put in some port forwarding entries and after reboot they were still there.
Securespot was disabled and always has been.
Curious if this is related to hardware version.
I have A3.

I have A3 and have had this problem long time...

Mine is A3 and never had this problem before this update, I actually did the 30-30-30 install method twice and the bug was still there...........

I'm pretty sure that the 30-30-30 reset has no effect on the DIR-655.

same problem here, clean setting to the new firmware,
Securespot on or off doesn't matter, but virtual server setting will never save after a reboot.
hardware version A4
-
A2 hardware latest beta 1.32 build02 beta 3: No problems saving the port forwarding and virtual server. Even after reboot.
My suggestion would be to reset, reflash and manually reconfigure.

What browser are you using to configure the unit?
-
I do not have Securespot enabled, and have only observed the problem when configuring forwarding with mixed port entries.
My work around is to create two entries for what I need to accomplish - entry one with individual ports, and entry two with port range.
Using A4 hardware with latest beta.
-
Some are saying port forwarding and others virtual server.
Which one are we discussing or are people having problems with both?

Lycan using Internet Explorer......

OK here is what I discovered. I have A3.
When Firmware was first flashed securespot was enabled by deafult. I unchecked this and manually
put in all my settings. When I put in the port forwards they were lost ever time on a router reboot.
I then reflashed and started over again. Exact same thing happened. Then I read the post on enabling
the Securespot. I enabled it and then set the port forwarding and it saved after a reboot! Now I disabled
Securespot and rebooted the router. Guess what.........The settings stayed! I then tried to enter another port forward and it survives a reboot without securespot enabled.
My conclusion is that you must initially set your port forwarding settings with securespot enabled. Then you can disable and everything works perfectly. Is this a bug??? Thats for the techs to comment on.
