Is it possible my Dlink IP cams to record directly to my NAS without a dedicated PC on it, I have a mydlink DNS320 NAS storage.
-
Yes, if you can install the My Surveillance plug in on the DNS.

Can you guide where i can get those plug-ins and if you have step by step to enable direct recording to my DLINK DNS-320L without a PC being active always. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Sorry i'm a novice regarding this matter. :(

Not sure if the plug in will work on the 320:

I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support and ask them if it's officially supported or not. I don't have this model DNS so I can't confirm it.

If it's a 320L NAS
Go to http://dlink.vtverdohleb.org.ua/ (http://dlink.vtverdohleb.org.ua/) (register for free if not already registered)
Click "Surveillance" top right
Then look top left for Surveillance Station - select DNS-320L version and it'll download.
Login to server - click Applications
Click Add-On Management
Click Choose File and browse to downloaded file and select
then click apply - this will install My Surveillance - if I remember correctly you need to set the addon to run

Thanks for the additional info Phil. ;)
