Hi guys.. I am happy with 1.08 so far, keep up the good work.
One thing I have run into is that if my drives are spun-down and someone tries to connect via ftp, the drives wake up immediately. This happens even before a user logs in.
My concern is if the FTP server is exposed to the internet, someone doing a port scan or trying to hack the ftp server, will constantly wake the drives up all day long. Is there anyway to prevent that?? It would be nice if the drives did not wake up, until a user successfully logged into FTP.
Thx!

change port from 21 to something high

Thanks for the suggestion, I thought about that, but it really doesn't help from a port scan perspective. Anyone would still be able to connect to whatever port it is changed to and cause the same drive spinup.

Just an fyi but port scanners don't normally check all 65k ports. They check common ports for vulnerabilities.
Even so, we will look into it. :)

Thanks so much.. I think it would be a nice feature anyway if you guys could add it.
