We are looking to replace our DIR-655 rev A units (4 in 4 different soho offices). Our suppliers have started telling us the DIR-655 is no longer available. Kind of getting the sense it is being phased out. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions?
Things in the DIR-655 that we leverage are:
QOS control of Voip traffic.
NAT to block all inbound initiated connections.
MAC filtering.
WPA2 wireless and segmented guest wireless.
DNS Relay disabled.
Custom IP address.
DHCP and reservations.
UPnP disabled.
Visibility of all network connections through the NAT stating their priority.
Visibility of all wireless network clients.
New requirements:
IPV6
I don't mind going a 2 unit route where 1 unit is the protection from the WAN and the other unit is for wireless networking. Speaking of WAN is Time Warner cable for everyone currently.
We bought the AC1900 (DIR-880) to evaluate and have found it doesn't provide some of the things the DIR-655 provided.

You might check out a DIR-868L and a 866L. These are the last of the old UI router and I think it has the same features you may need as the 655 does.

Thanks for the direction.
