I don't have this model but other dlink cams you can.

Did you read the user manual for it?

Cameras need a connection to a router for initial set up to gain an IP address. Once it gets an IP address, the camera can be changes to use a Static IP address then you could connect a PC using a Static IP address as well and connect to the camera directly. Might work.
