Title: The firmware from dd-wrt made my D-link dir-615 non-working
Post by: mastermind on December 29, 2015, 06:44:55 PM
I wanted to use my d-link dir-615 as a repeater, so I followed a youtube video, and download a firmware from dd-wrt website, which defaults the ip address to 192.168.1.1 from 192.168.0.1

However, 192.168.1.1 doesn't open a webpage it is suppose to. So, now I am stuck and am not supposed to open the d-link page. Basically, my router is a paper weight at this point. I did a reset called 30/30/30 from their website, but that didn't do anything.

This is really pissing me off. I mean how can there not be a way to get my router back ? It is ridiculous. Please help me get my router back or make it work as repeater. Either way it is fine.

I want it to work as a repeater because the wi-fi strength in two of my rooms is very low or sometimes i don't get wi-fi at all.

Thanks!!

You'll need to refer to the DD-WRT web site for help and information on there FW.
