Hello,
Wondering if someone can help me i have a DNS-320LW and its up to date. I can access it online by typing in the IP or by URL and on my computer but i want to link it to the mydlink in order to access it on my phone and tablet on the move. When i go to Account Settings on sharecenter and try to sign into mydlink i get the following error:
Sign in mydlnk portal Failure.
i dont know how to fix this I've tried re-starting the device and nothing happens.

Dod you have a log in PW set on the 320s log in page?
Can you go to mydlink.com (http://mydlink.com) in a browser and see if it's associated and connected there?
-
When i go to mydlink.com it just says that Your account has no devices.
I go to my sharecenter and log in as ADMIN then go to account settings and try to log in there but I get error:
SIGN IN MYDLINK PORTAL FAILURE

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
-
im not 100% sure im with Sky so it's the sky hub that they send out
-
Is it a modem only or a modem/router combo?
-
I think it's a modem/router combo
-
You might power OFF the DNS, then power OFF the modem/router for 1 minute, then power ON and let it sync, then power ON the DNS. Go thru the DNS UI and it should have a section on registering the DNS with the MDL service. Enter in your email and PW used for the MDL service.

still doesn't let me log in

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I have a memory of someone having the same problem on a different forum and the resolution was to have both a user name AND password for admin login.
FurryNutz, you should be better equipped to find that post than I.
-
Ya lets check to see if the admin log in page has a PW set on it. Thanks for the reminder Ivan. ;)
-
i always log in as admin anyway and it still doesn't work
-
And is there a PW set for the admin log in account?
-
As FurryNutz says do you have to supply a password (or have one stored by your browser) when you log in as admin? If not you need to give the admin login a password.
-
yes when i go to log in as a admin i select admin and then the password is already saved in my browser so it allows me to then log in as a admin
-
Ok then when you go to the mydlink link, that do you see there?
Not sure if it's the same on DNS vs routers. Routers we see a registration option here to either register new or register with a already active mydlink.com account email address and PW. After the router is reg'd, it shows that the router is registered and that's it.

FIXED IT, for some reason when ever i would sign into mydlink it would take me to the sg.mydlink.com which is a singapore server which obviously is not compatible with the UK devices. so i had to delete my account and re-register and bam it worked.
Many thanks for your support guys!

Ah ha. Glad you fixed it and thank you for posting the details.
Hope it works well for you.
Enjoy.
