Title: Backup from NAS 327L to FTP server

Hi All,

Hi All,

I would like to transfer file fromNAS "DNS 327L" to my server ftp.mywebpage.com (host on fatcow.com). Unfortunately software not allow me to do it. Error pop up: "RSYNC Test Result : ( SSH Refused )".

Could you tell me how I can transfer files from NAS to FTP server?

I would review the user manual for any FTP features. I presume if it's not mentioned, that it may not be support on sending data files from NAS to FTP. Mostly the directly is from FTP services or devices to NAS.

The NAS has an FTP Server therefore your site needs an FTP Client to connect to it not another server.

You can test the FTP Server is running on your NAS by using FileZilla on your computer.  Then you need to correctly set your router and firewall to allow incoming FTP packets from the internet (test that from somewhere outside your internal network.  If that works then an FTP Client on your site should be able to connect to your NAS FTP Server and transfer files in both directions.
