Title: Unauthenticated rtsp streaming
Post by: rbennett on January 27, 2016, 08:33:06 PM
Good day,

I am looking to setup the DCL-960l to stream to a recording device (Zoneminder currently) via rtsp or http live feed.  I purchased at the same time a DCS-2630L and have gotten this bad boy up and running/streaming without issue.

I can stream to a VLC player rtsp://YOUR.IP.HERE:554/play1.sdp but the device challenges me for a username/password.  Is there a way for me to a) disable the RTSP authentication and/or a way to utilize some url trickery to supply a username/password without being prompted to enter one?  The DCS-2630L simply let me disable the authentication while there is no option for that in the web GUI for the DCL-960l.  My unit is on the latest firmware update of v1.02.01.

Thank you for your time
