I have a dlink di624...I hook up to cable modem...I can see both a wireless network and I can run ethernet cable from 624 to laptop....in either case I get no internet....on wireless it asks for network passcode...when entered it says not the passcode....I can run ethernet cable from modem to laptop and Im good...Ive done a factory reset on 624 but still no internet....all lights on 624 indicate its working....I cannot enter url to configure because I cant get internet through 624...any suggestions? I am replacing a failing linksys router....I know the 624 is old but worked great at last use.....thanks for any response.

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.

- What region are you located?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
- Is ISP Modem/Service using Dynamic or Static WAN IP addressing?
- What ISP Modem service link speeds UP and Down do you have? Link> Speed Testing Sites (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48352.0)
- By-pass the main host router and check internet connection by connecting a wired LAN PC directly to the ISP modem to verify connection access and ISP speeds.
- Check cable between Modem and Router, swap out to be sure. Link> Cat6 is recommended. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAT6)
- Check ISP MTU requirements, Cable is usually 1500, DSL is around 1492 down to 1472. Call the ISP and ask. Link>Checking MTU Values (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=53008.0)
What PC OS are you using?

Did you enter the default password?
You don't need to enter Internet to get to router web page.
It's pretty well obsolete. Mine just died one day.
