Title: Can't see video http stream when viewing over wifi.
Post by: SedoSan on February 08, 2016, 08:41:31 PM
I got the DCS-5222L and I set it up and it is working fine when I use the D-link phone app or when I open the http:// stream link from my desktop over LAN.
However when I try open the same link from any device that is not connected to LAN it will not show me the stream. Did I miss something in the settings or is this a router issue?

Yeah you missed something in the router most likely.

Port forwarding area me than likely.

Did you change the default port of  80/443?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?
What is the distance between the Camera and the main host router?

Test cameras with uPnP and uPnP Port Forwarding both enabled on ALL cameras: DCS Cloud (L) Series Camera Configuration and Mydlink.com (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=62395.0)
