Title: Framerate
Post by: HMK on February 16, 2016, 11:57:02 AM
Although the image and video quality is not as good as I expected from this camera, it is working quite well.
But I was wondering....I set it up with "Max framerate: 25" But when I look at the live stream, or watch a recorded stream, it is doing 10fps.
Is there another setting I need to ajust to get 25fps? Even in the smallest framesize it won't record or show 25fps.

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?
What is the distance between the Camera and the main host router?

Have you tried single mode N on the main host router?

Ryat3, that looks great. I notice on my phone that it shows 25fps too in framesize 240.
In framesize 720, it even drops under 5fps.

But the smartphoneapp is not that important to mee. I want to increase the framerate in the recordings.
When I enter the local ip adress of the camera on my computer, it shows 10fps, and it records in 10fps too.

Any idea how to fix that?

Honestly, I don't think you can.

This recorded stream - you are recording to SD CARD?  This is not for video clip from motion detection?

The new dcs-960l and dcs-2630l do write at close to 30fps.

The DCS-2230 comes in around 15fps to SD CARD.
