With the router connected my location changes with every speedtest I make.

Your external IP is the cause of that, not the router.

This is due to the Geographical location that the external Internet IP address is recognized as. If your ISP is a "country-wide" provider, then this location can change.

Are you using http://speedtest.net/ (http://speedtest.net/)? At least there, you get to pick the city closest to you. Never heard of your situation. Still learning something new every day.

Yes, I'm talking about speedtest.net. Without the router connected my location is as it should.

Looks like speedtest.net is looking at the DNS setting.
