Title: Bestbuy stops carrying Dlink products.
Post by: jasoninaz on July 12, 2009, 08:12:24 PM
I returned the DIR-825 nightmare router and got store credit, no questions asked. I was rather happy and I tried like hell to get this router to work after the 1.11 update and even considered RMAing it. But then I started to think WHY? Why would I install a piece of substandard hardware on my network. I won't and I didn't.

So with my 143.00 of store credit I noticed something. All the Dlinks were gone, I called the store manager over and asked him why? He didn't say but did say the Netgear and Cisco (linksys) were a better value all the time while looking at me telling me, they were horrible and the returns were unreal.

My advice for all of you, don't do this to yourself, return it buy something that you can trust and count on.

This will be my last post here.

Goodnight, Jason

Oh I got a netgear switch to go with my linksys router.

Bestbuy is probably "out of stock" of the D-Link products and they are waiting for the next shipment?

The Best Buy in my area has more D-Link products than NetGear and Linksys, so it must just be an isolated thing.
