- What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?
What browser are you using when your doing the upgrade?
Try IE or FF. Ensure that all PC security software and browser add-ons are temporarily disabled before doing FW upgrades. Wired LAN cable connection with the camera is preferred as well.

Are you trying to load the latest FW version? Or are you getting prompted for a FW update?
-
Yes the latest firmware. And I have tried both ways. When I login to mydlink it says that it needs to be updated so I tried it that way. I have also downloaded the firmware and logged into the camera and tried uploading via the maintenance page

Can you try manually installing v2.02 first from here:

Wonder if sequential updates need to be applied first.

Tried that as well. No go. Just returned and got another 5222l and everything is fine with this one. Must have received a defective unit. Thank you for your help

Glad the new one is working. Enjoy. ???
