Upon installing My (QNAP) NAS 8 months ago I reserved a static IP for it on my DIR-850L
For Some reason my NAS has 'wandered off' to another, non-reserved IP address - I can see it in the DIR-850L's client list but when I try to reserve the (old) IP address again I get the error "IP address cannot be the same." even if the address I try to reserve is different from the current address (it is the old address, as I want to go back to the old reserved address so I don't have to change all the other services/software running on various devices pointing directly to my NAS)
Where does the DIR-850L store its IP address reservation list, and is there a way to 'purge' or delete an entry on that list? Why can't I reserve this IP address if it is not (currently) in use?

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
- Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
- Has a Factory Reset (http://blog.dlink.com/what-is-a-reset-button-when-should-i-use-it) been performed?
Is the NAS using a static on the NAS or auto Dynamic IP addressing?
I recommend setting a Static IP address ON the NAS thats out side of the routers default DCHP IP address pool, i.e. 192.168.0.2.
Reserved IP address differs from a Static IP address.

I second this, I just received a brand new DIR-850L from my ISP, Revision B1 and Firmware 2.06 and I can't do IP reservation. It just does not work.
Please help report bug and fix.

If this router is given to you by an ISP, it may be under ISP support help and information as they sometimes do there own FW and support.
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
PC Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again. (For older generation routers.)
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the Admin account on the router.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

I have contacted my ISP and they have confirmed me that they don't put custom firmware into the DIR850L.
I have no other issues except for IP Reservation on LAN. It is really appreciated if D-Link test lan can perform a test.
I am on your official 2.06 firmware on a B1 hardware revision.

What region are you located?
Was a factory reset performed before and after applying any new FW updates?
The reservation is handled in the connected clients section. select the icon and select the gray pencil. In the new window select the reserve slider bar.
