Hello,
I'm having a problem with updating firmware for this router. Everytimes I tried to upload the firmware to the router it gave me an error saying the firmware is not correct or the router is busy. I've reset the router then update the firmware but it still has the same error. I tried to download an earlier version of the firmware and it still said the same thing. I've tried all kind of way to update the firmware but no result. Does anyone know what to do with this? :'(
Router model: DIR-655 version A1
Firmware: 1.01 (the original one)

Before you do that I would suggest getting some advice here on whether you want to do that.
I imagine some would pay a premium for a router at 1.01!
I think you will find it has to be done sequentially, at least through the non-reversible versions.

Oh really? Could you tell me what made it so special over the newer ones?

I am sure the kind folks here can explain it to you. I don't know where all the changes lie myself at this point.

ic, just in case... where can I find the earlier firmwares for this router? The earliest firmware I've found is 1.10
