• What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

• What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
• What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
• Is ISP Modem/Service using Dynamic or Static WAN IP addressing?
• What ISP Modem service link speeds UP and Down do you have? Link> Speed Testing Sites (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48352.0)
• Check ISP MTU requirements, Cable is usually 1500, DSL is around 1492 down to 1472. Call the ISP and ask. Link>Checking MTU Values (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=53008.0)

DSL modem

DHCP WAN

i want to know what to add in source IP and destination IP

i can understand max-min bandwidth limit in kbps & PORT

Ok, I'm not familiar with that configuration menu. So i'm not sure if Local IP addresses should be used or WAN side addresses.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

i have added another dir 600m router to set speed for users.
