Title: Is there any API for D-Link routers?
Post by: drjrules on April 01, 2016, 03:14:48 AM
I have a DIR-868L, and I'm researching some API (http or similar) to create a plugin for my home assistant (https://home-assistant.io/ (https://home-assistant.io/)) similar to this tp-link plugin (https://github.com/balloob/home-assistant/blob/dev/homeassistant/components/device_tracker/tplink.py (https://github.com/balloob/home-assistant/blob/dev/homeassistant/components/device_tracker/tplink.py)). Any suggestions?

I believe the only thing D-Link routers can connect with is the mylink.com services and the mydlink Lite app for iPhones. I don't know if anything else is offered or supported by D-Link. You might phone contact D-link support and ask them. D-Link has some new Smart Home products that looks like it has some similar features.

Thank you for your interest.
Unfortunately, there none that we know of or is supported by D-Link.
