It was running fine until one day, the app requesting for a firmware update. 2 users was connected to the camera using D-Link android apps. 1 user updated it. It was a successful update. The other user also requested for an update by the app, so he did. BOOM. The camera died.

Now, the camera is in SOLID RED status. I pressed the reset button for 20 sec while power up the camera, then after the reset release, it gave me SOLID GREEEN, but still no wifi.

What do I need to do to recover the camera?

Hopefully this forum is not just for chatting, instead it can really help me fix this problem.

 Thank you.

 - What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
- What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?

Try this to see if you can recover the camera:
 Emergency Recovery Mode (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=44909.msg163599#msg163599)

If this fails, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
