I am experiencing sudden problems with connections to clienter on wifi. Restarting the router corrects the problem, but it comes quickly back. The problem is that cliens are denied accces to wifi, 2,4 band and 5 ghz band. But only some clients and it seams ramdomly.
Another thing I noticed, is that if I look at the routers webinterface on connected cliens, is says 16 cliens, then the page reloads, then it says 5 cliens, reloads agian then only 1 client. The number of cliens connectet vary, even if they should not, since some cliens are on wired connection.
I have made no changes to the setup of the router, and no new clients added, the router has been running without isues in 30 days, only needed reboots if I wantede to.
I think this is a strange behavior :(

What version of FW? v1.09 is new.

No SC is disabled, with different names on 2,4 and 5 ghz band, guest enabled, but only one name. FW: 1.08, Tue 07 Jul 2015 lates version ac. to router web managementpage of 890L

Another thing is that I can no longer use mylink app, the connection keeps timing out. Sure l could update the firmware even if the router says that I already have the lates firmware. I would rather like to know what's went wrong. The router has been running error free, just not the last couple of days. Why the sutten change ?

Possible your regional MDL service may have issues. My region is working here for me.

I have reset the router to default reinstalling it once more. Now the app mydlink lite, works again. If I try to acces the router from mydlink.com, I get "Unable to access your DIR-890L" so maybe something is wrong with MDL services as you say. I just hope re-installing it will solve he isues with cliens connection.

After the reset, and waiting a few days, mydlink.com works again and I can see my router from mydlink.com, so I guess it was the MDL service.
I have also upgradet to firmware 1.09. I cant be sure if it was the reset or the firmware upgrade, but I have not had any troubles with cliens disconnecting since the reset and upgrade. :)

Hmmm today mydlink doesnt work again, it keeps saying loading when connecting to my device. I found out that it is due to the plugin in firefox. I can connect to my device via mydlink.com in IE and chrome... plugins are not a good thing i guess. Removing and reinstalling the plugin in firefox did not work, so I can only use IE and Chrome for mydlink.com.

I can use FF on OSX with MDL here in the NA region this morning. ;)
