I have no clue on how to connect my wd storage drive to my dlink dcs 5020l. I am not a tech guy and have no idea what i will be doing. I need someone to break it down to the stupidest term for me, if there is a youtube video even better. I strongly believe there is a way to connect both. Someone please HELP me.

Umm, you need at a minimum something to record to the drive.

You might consider buying a d-link camera with SD-CARD recording?!  The newer 960L and 2630L support up to 128GB memory cards. (But they do run pretty hot).

Is the WD storage drive USB or NAS?
You can use D-View Cam to record video from DCS cameras to a USB drive when the USB drive and DVC is installed on a PC.
