Title: Add-on "ownCloud v9.0.2" for D-Link NAS
Post by: vtverdohleb on May 10, 2016, 11:18:56 AM
[Add-on] ownCloud v9.0.2

[Description]
ownCloud is a software system for what is commonly termed "file hosting". As such, ownCloud is very similar to the widely-used Dropbox, with the primary difference being that ownCloud is free and open-source, and thereby allowing anyone to install and operate it without charge on a private server, with no limits on storage space (except for hard disk capacity) or the number of connected clients.
ownCloud v9.x is impossible to do because of the very old MySQL, the built-in firmware.  Add-on uses SQLite3 instead of MySQL. For this reason, the previous version of the database is not compatible with the current.
It requires preinstalled addon PHP (free). For DNS-327L/340L is recommended to pre-install the add-on NGINX (free).

[Version]
Add-on Package v3.01
Attention! This is the commercial version of the add-on.

NGINX only under 327L / 340L. In 320L owncloud v9 works as a web server uses a built-in firmware "lighttpd".
Add-on PHP for 325/345 can't be compiled because basic Software too old.

Good afternoon,

I have just installed Nginx, PHP and also the Owncloud add-on (along with the relevant serial number & restarted the service), however when i go to log into the Owncloud interface, i keep receiving HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.

Can you advise if I need to configure anything further?

(I have had previous versions of Owncloud working successfully using PHPMyadmin without problem)

Many thanks

Hello everyone,

I have problems using this addon on a Dlink 320LW.

I need to edit the file config/config.php to configure my owncloud, but I can't find where the owncloud data is stored. Indeed, it is written that the installation path is /Volume_1/Nas_Prog/owncloud, but there is not such a folder when I go to the "My Files" dlink built-in service.

It is strange because I am able to access the owncloud interface and add manually a few files.

So how can I access the owncloud configuration files ?

EDIT: Ok, I just find on this forum that the Nas_Prog folder is not accessible for regular users... http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=61356.0 (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=61356.0)
I will try an SSH access..

Attention! This is the commercial version of the add-on.

As it is a commercial version, do I have to pay OwnCloud  for it? Have you planned a non commercial issue?

I recently purchased a DLink DNS-320L and would like to install this owncloud add-on.  I am running firmware version 1.06.  I recently downloaded DNS-320L owncloud package v3.01_05092016_COM.  I installed it, but it is asking for a activation code and I am not 100% sure how to obtain that code.  Has anyone else gone through this and is this all that is needed to get owncloud up and running?  Thanks

Why did you write about this on forum.dlink.com? You pay D-Link? When registering online, you get a letter with my address. Paypal also to a specific address. WHY WRITE HERE ?! Probably should be punished if repeated warnings and requests do not help ....

Hey Guys,

I recently purchased a new DNS-320L Cloud because the original one was bricked.  So I have the new one.  I upgraded the firmware to version 1.08 and I am trying to install owncloud version DNS-327L owncloud package v3.01_05092016_COM , but keep getting install failed error on the add apps page of the DLink menu.  Am I doing something wrong?  Thanks

For the DNS-320L model, you need to install "DNS-320L owncloud Package v3.01_05092016_COM". The version for DNS-327L can not be installed on your model.

Thanks, not sure how I did that or caught it on my own.  Anyways I installed it and PHP.  When I click on it I get the certificate error as expected.  I then get to a login page, but I have no idea what the default username/password is.  I looked all over the owncloud documents and nothing that I can find.  Does anyone know what it is for the first time running it?  Thanks

Hi, I installed the commercial version of owncloud correctly in my DNS320L, and it installed correctly. I restart the application as indicated, but when I launch the navigated always responds:

503 - Service Not Available

Can. To do this, edit the file "/mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/owncloud/owncloud/config/config.php", in the 'datadirectory' section specify the directory available via FTP, for example "/mnt/HD/HD_a2/owncloud_data"

thanks for your reply

May I ask if there is another cloud for 320L ? it is because the speed of the cloud seems slow although it is user friendly

how about cloud of calendar ?

sorry that I am too green on NAS and d-link NAS, so I asked too many stupid questions.

thanks for your effort and answer

Regards,
TY

Hi
I installed own cloud and PHP, but I'm getting this message:
"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator if this error reappears multiple times, please include the technical details below in your report.
More details can be found in the server log."

I already restart the program. What should I do?

Try the following:
1. Remove the add-it ownCloud
2. Delete the directory "_owncloud" in the root section of Vloume_1
3. Check whether the PHP add-on is enabled
3. Install and run add-ownCloud again

Hi vtverdohleb,

I have done all the things I've read in this forum but I still can't make it run.
I have PHP and Ngnix and paid the add-in, I run it and i edited the config.php file. Now I get a screen with username and password. I don't know which information is asking, because I didn't set it up yet. Is there any default configuration anywhere?

Thanks for your help.
