I just set up this router yesterday and while the (mac) computer that it is tethered to can connect to the net, my (mac) laptop will not. The laptop is the only computer w/ wireless capabilities. The connection was fine when I was using the old router (a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router w/ SRX200). Now when I try to connect, I get this message----> There was an error joining the AirPort network "dlink".
Can anyone steer me in the right direction on this one?
Thanks.

check Wi-Fi Protected Setup under advanced tab, temporally disable it, connect, set your pass and settings(wireless g/n etc..) re-enable WPS.

One more thing before I follow those instructions. This mac has an original airport card. Do I need to buy an adapter to get online?

Airport card is built-in no? If so I'd say not, just config the proper settings for that card.

What mac do you have? Does it have wireless n? What are your wireless settings?

If it is the original wireless 802.11b card you should change the 802.11 Mode: from "auto" to "802.11b only" on the dlink
Setup--> Wireless settings--> Manual Wireless Network Setup-->Wireless Network Settings

Do you have you wireless hidden? If so try un-hiding it and connect and then re-hide
