Hi,
I own a DSL-2770L router. I'd like to enforce Youtube Safety Mode via the router. Is it possible?
Thank you in advance.

- What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Can you explain more of this " youtube safety mode'?

First of all thank you for the reply.
H/W ver.:A1

Youtube Safety Mode is explained here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/174084?hl=en. It is a mode to protect children from watching videos not appropriate for them.
It is based on cookies. According to this source (http://webapps.stackexchange.com/questions/42106/how-to-enable-safety-mode-in-youtube-via-url-or-cookie), it seems that in order to force it, one should append "&f2=8000000" to the "PREF" cookie.

Ya, thats something that can't be handled on routers and needs to be done on devices and or PCs.

Thank you, FurryNutz.
