I am looking at upgrading my recording system from a DNR-202L to a DNR-322L due to being able to record up to 9 cameras. But I noticed the compatibility list does not show my new DCS-2630L camera which is a new wide angle HD camera from D-Link.
Does it work with the DCS-322L but is just not on the list yet. Can anybody help.
This time around I am doing my home work before I spend any more money on my system.
Thanks Bob

I would phone contact D-Link support and ask to be sure. I don't have this camera so I don't know for sure. I do have the 202 and 933L and that works. ::)

Just got a reply from Dlink support
Just to set your expectation, the DCS-2630L can be added to the DNR-322L recorder however, it needs to be manually done using DCS-2330L as its model.
Not sure what setting manually as a model means. Does anybody know what that means!
Thanks Bob

Might be that you can enter in the model of the DCS2630L into the menu item where there is a ADD camera or manual add camera function on the DNRs UI.

Support replied:-
What I mean is that, the DCS-2630L could not be automatically search by the DNR-322L but instead the information about the camera should be manually entered on the DNR and on the section where you have to select the model number, you have to use DCS-2330L because DCS-2630L is not yet available on the list.
I must admit support replied very quickly. Also I found Youtube videos on set up very helpful by see before hand menus etc.
I hope this helps others.
Thanks Bob
