Title: DLINK 2750U - Custom DNS settings are reset on every reboot
Post by: prakharsingh95 on July 10, 2016, 12:46:08 AM
Hi,

I have a DLINK DSL-2750U (India), with firmware version (IN_1.09). I want to use Google's DNS, so I chose "Use the following DNS server addresses" option and entered the corresponding address.

However, whenever the router reboots, the DNS changes, ie, the "Use the following DNS server addresses" is still selected, but the address of the primary and secondary addresses change to my ISP's DNS.

This is very frustrating because my internet doesn't work fine with their DNS. Is it possible to resolve this somehow? I tried updating to v1.10 available on the website (http://www.dlink.co.in/products/?pid=452), but it failed to upgrade to that.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I am facing same problem. Any solution on this?
