Title: DGS-1510-52 LACP Port Mirror
Post by: anigwei on August 16, 2016, 04:03:50 AM
Hi,

Regarding my other post (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=65409.0) that it seems difficult to use sFlow to analyze traffic data, I will end using Port Mirroring to send traffic to nTop box.

But: What if the port that I want to mirror (monitor) is a LACP? Can I mirror a member only?

The idea is a nTop box with n NICs in promiscuous mode connected to each stack.

How do you monitor your network traffic? :) :)

Thanks,

Hi,

I ended up (by the moment) mirroring both members to one port which ends up with a promiscuous network card and Ntop listening on it... It seems to work.

Thanks.
