Hey guys, I try to find this product in any section, but I cannot find any section with this product model.
So I will have to ask my question here.
If you feel that I should ask this question at a more appropriate section, please kindly enlighten me.
My Question:
I know how to set a static IP for this AP.
What I want is DHCP for any device that connected to this AP
Example:
Static IP of this AP: 192.168.1.5
IP for any device connected to this AP:
Device 01 - 192.168.5.1
Device 02 - 192.168.5.2
Device 03 - 192.168.5.3
.....
.....
Device 99 - 192.168.5.99
I am unable to identify the DHCP settings for clients at any sub-menu.
Can you enlighten me?
Thanks

- What Hardware version is your DWL? Look at the sticker under the DWL.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DWLs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
I would review the user manual to see how this can be done. I know that DAPs have a default IP address of 192.168.0.50 and it maybe the same with the DWL. If you need to change the static IP address on the DWL, set up a static IP address on a PC for 192.168.0.49 and directly connect a LAN cable from the PC to the DWL. Log into the DWLs web page using the default IP address. Once in there, you can change the default IP address to something different. Save the changes then connect the DWL to your main host router or switch. Don't forget to change the PC networks settings back from static to Auto Obtain IP addressing.
Reason for this model unit not being in the forum list is that it may not be supported in the USA or NA region.
