Hi Harrydr....I do exactly what you are asking about with my remote cams. However, you can not do this through the myDlink apps. You need to set up your cams for a direct login over the internet. Here's a quick list of details you need to do but I can get into more detail if you pursue this:
1) You need to set up your camera for direct login over the internet:
- If this is for longer term, you will want to set up DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server, Dlink provides a free service for using their cams). The IP address assigned to the modem by your internet provider may change from time to time. A DDNS setup assigns a name such as "harrydr.dlinkddns.com" to your IP address and tracks it as your IP address changes.
- You will need to set up port numbers, one for each camera, and map those port numbers in your router to the individual local IP addresses on your local network.
- You would then access each cam with a url like http://harrydr.dlinkddns.com:12000 where 12000 is the part number you assigned to a particular camera.
2) For each cam that you want to allow others to see you will need to go to the following web page (sorry, tried to post actual photo but I can't get it to display, made a hyperlink instead):

On this page you can assign users who can access the live image but can not access any of the controls or settings.
