[INFO] Fri Jul 17 13:13:30 2009 Blocked TCP packet from [Internal IP]:80 to [External IP]:42582 as control SYN:PSH:ACK in not valid
I'm trying to connect to a device on my network remotely. So far all attempts have been unsuccessful. I have tried port forwarding appropriate ports (its just a standard web-server type device which is accessable internally by entering the IP into my browser) to no avail. I've even pointed the DMZ to this device and I still get multiple log entries as stated above even with DMZ enabled to this device. Could anyone possibly tell me what this means and why even DMZ will not allow access to this device remotely? Thanks for any info provided.

That is an invalid flag combination so it is being used. Whoever wrote your web app should consult TCP again.

Thanks for the reply, the unit I'm trying to connect to is a commercial grade CCTV DVR (Panasonic HD500B). remote connections in the past have worked, I beileve with FW 1.10 in this router, altho I have updated the FW in the DVR since then as well. Thanks again.
