Hi there,

I have just got this DSL router as a gift.
I have done all the setup I need - have setup my guest wireless user as well.

Question on the guest user:
1) The WPA2(AES) key does not save in the Wireless Security for some unknown reason.
2) I want to limit the guest user on their bandwidth, how can this be done?

Thanking you in Advance,
Cheers
Don

PC Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.

Usually Guest zone features don't have any way to limit bandwidth. I would review the user manual to see what features are available.

  • What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

If you need more help and information, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
