Title: D-ViewCam D-Link camera does not connect

Hi All

Need help with the following problem.

Equipment: D-Link camera model DCS-5222LB1

OS: Windows 7 - 64

Problem: Cannot connect the camera with the D-ViewCam dashboard.

I am able to connect the camera over the internet profile. But that has limited functions.

Error message on the D-ViewCam dashboard: Failed to open COM1 for communication. PTZ cameras or I/O devices may not work properly. Please see if any other programs block COM1.

OK- I'll bite...

Is this a new 5222LB1 for you?   What is your F/W #?

Which D-Viewcam version are you using, and do you have other cams running on D-viewcam?

F/W Ver.: 2.03

Downloaded the D-ViewCam version as of recent.

Any status on this?

Does manually inputting the IP address for the camera in DVC work?
