Title: Wake On Lan
Post by: harvey_slash on November 09, 2016, 02:09:19 PM
I am trying to set up WOL for dlink 850l for my debian server.
After looking around , these are my settings:

Router IP : 192.168.0.1
Default Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.128
HostName: delta
enable DNS relay : checked
DHCP Server is enabled , with ip address range from 2 to 126
my server is set to have a reserved ip 192.168.0.2 , (server mac address is 74:d4:35:b8:4f:46)

In virtual server, i have selected application name to be Wake-on-lan. It auto set the public and private port to 9 , protocol to UDP.
I set the IP address in this to 192.168.0.2 (i tried setting to 192.168.0.255, 192.168.0.127, and also 192.168.0.128 , all shows error popup saying IP out of bounds)

When i send magic packet, it works for 5 mins after shutting down my server, but after that it doesnt.

Help appreciated!

my firmware version is 1.14ww (hardware version A1)
