Is there anyway to backup the DNS-321 automatically - like rsync etc?

Since no response from even the moderators...... Are there any plans for up coming firmware to allow you to backup the DNS321 to another NAS - I know currently it can work the other way around

DLink Staff, thank you you have helped me decide that not only are your products  half baked, but the support you can expect is pretty much the same.

As a trader once told me - if the product (in his case prices of bonds) are crap - people will vote with their feet. In my case I will try to sell the DNS-321 and stick with decent products with good support (ReadyNas for example).

I am truely surprised that your company manages to continue to sell products in this market. ???

What is the issue you are having why would you need a firmware update to backup to another NAS? Have you contacted technical support regarding it? What was the resolution? This forum is not an official means off technical support for D-link products if we can come in and help thats great mainly it is for the community. If you are just looking to backup from one Unit to another yes there are many ways of doing this. You can set it up to pull from another NAS or use software to backup from one location to another. There are many third party programs available for doing many backup types.
