Title: Two Questions: Dlink DDNS and Drive upgrades
Post by: mycomputers.ca on July 19, 2009, 09:05:50 AM
don't get confused I have to diffrent questions I've been wondering

1. when I updated to 1.06 haven't been able to use the DDNS Feature it tells me timeout has to be between 24-672. why i think this is happening is because I had it enabled with a  time set so when I upgraded you can't update it manually by the user.

my second question is:

2. if i upgrade to 1TB drives if i take one out and re-build to a bigger drive can the Dlink unit rebuild it like that if i want to upgrade in size?

Thanks,
Mike

1) Check the DNS address setting in the LAN settings of the DNS-323 making sure it properly populated the fields.

2) You will need to backup the data then copy it back. It does not have an expand feature.
