I have a DIR-655 with the latest firmware. My WAN address is 10.1.10.x - My LAN address range starts at 192.168.0.1. I need to have the LAN start at 10.1.10.1.
When in setup - Network Settings I receive an error stating that both the LAN and WAN can't be on the same subnet.
What can I do so that LAN uses 10.1.10.x?
Thank you for looking.

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
That's just it, "Both the LAN and WAN can't be on the same subnet."
Is the DIR router sitting behind another router? Mfr and model of this router?
You can do this with the DIR router:

Yes, it is. The link you sent me was very useful. I will probably have time on Saturday to make any changes. I will update you then.
Many thanks.

Should work well. I've had my 655s set up as APs this as well.
Let us know how it goes. ;)
