Title: Can't get my 932l to work at all

I've had this camera for a year now. I have had it fully set up and working just fine.
However last week I tried to plug it in and it didn't work. Maybe to do with the firmware update that happened recently?
So I try to connect it to my router to redetect it with the mobile app.... no luck.
I try to reset it and go through the ip address to access it.... no luck.
I try to use the disc to completely reinstall (incidentally this isn't an easy thing with windows 10, it gets blocked with a standard account, had to activate an admin account)... no luck.
My camera just isn't being detected anywhere.
The green light is on and it looks like it is working but...it isn't.

Any idea what could possibly be wrong?
Is there some sort of hard reset beyond the little needle hole reset?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?

After doing a factory reset, did you LAN cable connect the camera to the main host router then look at the main host routers client table to see if there was an IP address for the camera listed there?

I just found this on D-Links FB page:

  • What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
  • Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

I'm in NY.
DCS-932L is my model.
I've no idea about my router, its some rubbish thing provided by my isp (a make called technicolour). It used to work just fine with this router though. And it seems to be showing up in my list of attached devices.

No luck trying again today.

Firmware...I can't check, I can't access the camera. It updated just the other week however so should be up to date.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
